V-1461

High-strength weldable corrosion-resistant alloy of low density, high elastic modulus, has high characteristics.

Used for the production of sheets, plates and extruded products. It is recommended for riveted and welded structures of aerospace vehicles (plating and power set of airframe structural elements), reduces the mass of 8−15% and performance in a wide range of temperatures — from cryogenic to elevated.
