Steel is smelted in vacuum induction furnaces. It is possible to use the vacuum decarburization method in the ladle.

It is used for the manufacture of welded heat exchange chemical and petrochemical equipment, operating at temperatures from 20 to 300 ° C and pressures up to 16 atm, in production environments of caustic soda, organochlorine products, with high content of chlorine ions, in the oil refining and pulp and paper industries.
