T-VCH

Tellurium is used in semiconductor technology; as an alloying additive — in alloys of lead, iron and steel to improve their workability and increase mechanical properties; Bi2Te3 and Sb2Te3 are used in thermogenerators, and CdTe in solar cells and as semiconductor laser materials. Tellurium is also used for bleaching pig iron, vulcanizing latex mixtures, producing brown and red glass and enamels.
