Tungsten VT-50 as an additive is used thorium oxide. Application: aircraft engine parts, incandescent filaments and parts in vacuum devices. Also, due to its high density, this metal is used for counterweights, artillery shells, bullets and gyros of ultra-fast rotors to stabilize the flight of ballistic missiles.
